INDUSTRIAL INNOVATIONS, INC. (also known as
"3i"), is located in
Stockton, California, where all machinery is designed and built by highly skilled machine
designers and craftsman. Highest priority is given to functional process design, component
quality, reliability and ease of maintenance.
INDUSTRIAL INNOVATIONS, INC. manufactures a wide range of products. Each
piece of equipment can be specially designed and manufactured to the customer's individual
needs. All of the products manufactured are backed by a 12 month parts and labor warranty.
A comprehensive training program is provided. Each of our Systems is designed to work
independently or in conjunction with other products.
PRODUCT LINE
The SuperMacs
is the nucleus
of 3i's mobile systems. This stand alone unit provides the power for the tools used to
extract and liquefy sludge. The liquefied sludge may then be phase separated by the
SuperMacs on board process equipment. Exact fingertip control of each and every function
of the process, together with reliable instrumentation feedback, enables one operator to
run the SuperMacs and a second operator to run the collection device. The SuperMacs
has been produced since 1982 and provides sludge collection and processing, safety,
resource recovery and profits to each owner.
The Phaser 600 or Phaser 450 are mobile batch type
centrifuge units. These units take the preconditioned solids and liquids from the
SuperMacs for further clarification and concentration. In addition, the Phaser 600
can be operated as a stand alone unit for dewatering of certain sludges.
The Sludge Bug
is a highly
efficient tool able to provide positive extraction rates of up to 15 tons per hour. Simple
hook and pin design allow the Sludge Bug to be disassembled and passed
through a 20"manway. Reassembly takes as little as 45 minutes and requires only one
tool to accomplish. Hoses roll on a series of patented 'snag free" carts that allow
unlimited movement in even the largest tanks. The Sludge bug is piloted
by a single operator and may be controlled remotely with use of an optional remote control
center.
The Robotic Tank Cannon is
a remote control high volume jetting system with a fully articulated nozzle. With a high
discharge rate (up to 300 GPM @ 300 PSI), the Tank Cannon hydraulically
mines the sludge deposits inside a tank or lagoon and turns them into a pumpable slurry.
This liquefied sludge may then be returned to the SuperMacs
for phase
separation and reclamation of the liquefier.
The Lagoon Sludge Extractor (previously
known as the Pond Skipper) is a remote controlled, hydraulically driven
vehicle designed to move its on-board booster/trash pump and hose around
a waste pond to facilitate its draining. It has the ability to lift its center mounted booster/trash
pump up out of the sludge so that it may move about the pond unhindered by drag.
The LSE is normally used in conjunction with the SuperMacs,
but with the addition of a portable hydraulic power unit may be used as a transfer pump
for other storage or transportation units.
The Sludge Lifter Unit
used in conjunction with the SuperMacs combines the efficiency of vacuum
extraction with the discharge capacity of a positive displacement pump to rapidly extract
and transfer sludges and slurries
The Vac-U-Pump System consists
of the Sludge Lifter Unit
a portable Vacuum Unit, and a portable Hydraulic Power Pack Unit.
This allows the Sludge Lifter to be used independently of the
SuperMacs.
The complete system is compact enough to be readily transported by a small flatbed truck.
Its uses are numerous, including emergency spill response. With the addition of wash wands
and a portable storage tank, it can be used for small cleanup jobs not requiring the
larger power of the SuperMacs.
The Booster/trash Pump
returns the jetted and fluidized sludge which is dislodged by the Robotic Tank Cannon
or orbital wash-heads. The booster/trash pump is used in
tanks or lagoons as well as in many other applications. It may be operated by 3i equipment
or run independently by a separate power supply.
The Wash-heads (180 degree or 360 degree) are used to fluidize and jet
free light sludge deposits from many sizes and shapes of tanks found in railroad tanks
cars, bars and land fixed storage tanks. Remotely controlled operation provides for safe
high temperature washing to give a completely oil free finish for hot work certification.
They are used in conjunction with the Booster/trash
Pump.
The Tripod which is 6 feet with extensions are used to hold the orbital wash-heads with small to medium storage tanks.
The Wet Condenser-Scrubber (SM-400)
is specifically designed to work in the field with the SuperMacs
to control air emissions discharged by its vacuum pump.
The Detail Wash Wand is specifically designed for final cleaning of the
interior of storage tanks. This has been developed through years of field testing
resulting in ease of use and effective means of detailing petroleum sludge tanks.
The Explosion Proof Lights are used to illuminate work areas. These are
air driven flood lights which have a rated output of 250 watts. The lights which carry an
MSHA approval rating for hazardous locations may be powered from any air source capable of
16CFM 70 PSI. Each light comes complete with an inline air regulator and filter in
addition to a rugged tripod mount.
The hose package with manifold system has been tested and found to be
superior in quality and suitability for use with our systems. The hoses include product,
wash and detail hoses and are specified according to each customer's needs.
The recommended Support Packages that Industrial Innovations Inc.
offers to its customers are extremely helpful when starting up a new enterprise. These
packages were derived from the personal experiences of our field trainers and operators
and include items essential for that first job. In addition, overseas customers find these
packages extremely helpful where supplies and equipment are hard to source and obtain.
The Spare Parts Package provides the customer an estimated one year
supply of parts for the machinery. It includes items such as filters, seals, pump parts,
drive belts, etc.
The Safety Package provides the customer with essential safety equipment
such as two-way radios with headsets, gas detectors, SCBA units, supplied air respirator
system, eyewash station, first aid kits and fire extinguishers. In addition, there are
consumable items such as hard hats, safety glasses, goggles, rubber boots,
"rain suits",
and both disposable and fire resistant coveralls.
The Support Tools Package provides the customer with the tools necessary
to perform routine maintenance to the equipment, as well as tools essential to set up and
maintain a cleaning job. This package includes items such as a standard hand tool set,
pipe wrenches, portable pipe vise, shovels, squeegees, etc.
The Hose Support Package provides the customer with additional piping
hardware often necessary to connect to tanks and pipelines. The package includes items
such as male and female camlock fittings, threaded pipe nipples, and hand valves.
The Sludge Dedrummer offers the customer an easy means to remove and
liquefy sludge from drums. In addition during the "de-drumming" process, the drum
receives a thorough cleaning of the interior. The machine's submerged counter rotating
cutters macerate the toughest solids making them easily pumpable. Two rotating counter
screws at the bottom of the mix tank thoroughly mix the macerated solids with the
liquifier as they feed the onboard discharge pump. The Dedrummer works
best when used in association with the SuperMacs, but with the property
support equipment (portable hydraulic power unit, etc.), it can be operated independently.
3i offers an on-site training as well as factory training with all
equipment manufactured. Factory training provides process theory. On-site training which
is done by 3i Cleaning Services
provides training at an actual job site chosen by the customer, whether storage tank,
ships, barges, railcars or sludge lagoons.
The Railcar Cleaning & Product
Recovery Systems are designed to fit a customer's specific needs. These
systems provide years of high performance, high quality of mechanical design and
construction and ease of maintenance for railcar cleaning. Each system is designed with
the emphasis on safety, efficiency, manpower, utilization, wash liquid
recycling, disposal
reduction, emission control and operational appearance. This process greatly reduces the
amount of wash water used and disposed of during railcar cleaning -- in some cases by as
much as 98%. Residues removed from the railcar and concentrated by the process are minimized
for disposal.
